One Year of Highlights!
*May 2013-Volunteers4Humanity submitted our request for our 501 C 3 status.
*August 2013-Our inaugural mission commenced, in August-September of 2013, to Uganda.
*October 2013- We were acknowledged by the US Ambassador to Uganda and USAID for our work in Lira, Uganda.
*January 2014-Award for the Best New Nonprofit Organization of 2013
*February 2014 -We initiated a computer understanding agenda for disadvantaged youths in Tulare County known as Computer Learning Night.
*May/June 2014-Our monthly healthcare screening event will begin in Fresno County.
The Future and Beyond
*June 19, 2014-Food and health maintenance handouts will be provided in Allentown, California.
*June/July 2014-We will begin a lecture series to educate the parturient on their analgesia options during their hospitalization.
*June 20-28, 2014-New Mexico Native American Reservation: Dental providers will team up with other nonprofits such as YOCAMA and Volunteers4Humanity to provide free dental care.
*August 8 through August-18, 2014-We are in the final stages of coordinating this medical mission. The preliminary places currently being considered include: Tanzania, Peru, Malawi, and the Dominican Republic. Our DC correspondent, Ms. Smith, will be providing frequent updates. Please check our blog for more details.
*August 22-September 1, 2014 -We plan our annual mission to Lira, Uganda. Currently we are awaiting final approval to coordinate this mission. *October 10-14, 2014- We have been invited to attend and present at the National UC Davis Pre-Medical and Pre-Health Professions Conference. If you are interested in traveling to this conference with us please send us an email.
