Health Professionals have less time with their patients

Volunteers thinking about a career in healthcare might want to take a typing, computer, and time management or all three before advancing to higher educational institutions.   According to a study published online in Annals of Internal Medicine, "physicians in ambulatory settings spend nearly 2 hours on clerical work for every 1 hour they dedicate to direct clinical face time with patients during the clinic day.

Yes, you understood correctly physicians are now so inundated with "paperwork," that they have less time to interact with their patients.  #volunteermatch
