Rhabdomyolysis is a potentially lethal disorder characterized by the death of muscle fibers and the release of their enzymes into the circulation. From a literature review, some patients with diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) have developed rhabdomyolysis. The physiology causing rhabdomyolysis in DKA patients remains unresolved. On Wednesday, March 15, 2017, from 8-9am PST Dr. J.K. Gude will hold a case presentation and discussion on Rhabdomyolysis & Diabetic Ketoacidosis.
