Tragety in Kenya

On April 2, 2015 while many were sleeping sounding in the Western world, Garrisa University College was under assault. Located in Northeastern Kenya, the University provided higher education to the area's inhabitants. The ministry places the current toll on life to be at 148 with an additional 79 injured. Volunteers in Kenya have been mobilized to donate blood for the surviving victims.
The Daily Nation quotes Education Cabinet Secretary Prof Jacob Kaimenyi announcing Garrisa University is closed indefinitely. Furthermore, all of the surviving students would matriculate to University's main campus in Eldoret to continue their education.

The world has to recognize the importance of every person for this to end. Too sad for everyone.
