Ebola returns to Liberia

In a statement provided by the Liberian Ministry of Health(MOH) on November 20, three newly confirmed cases of Ebola Virus Disease(EVD) were diagnosed in Montserrado County. Established in 1847, with the formation of Liberia, Montserrado is the oldest county in Liberia.
The US Embassy in Monrovia announced that representatives from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization, and experts in viral diseases are assisting the MOH with case identification, reporting, and contact tracing related to the confirmed Ebola cases.
For additional information contact the U.S. Embassy in Monrovia, located at 502 Benson Street, Monrovia, and is open Monday through Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm, and Friday 8:00am-1:00pm.
