Driving to save lives

According to the National Safety Council, in 2015 the U.S. had the highest one-year percentage increase in traffic deaths in half a century. Their initial estimates indicate that 38,300 people were killed on U.S. roads and approximately 4.4 million sustained injuries that resulted in medical consultations. The NSC defines defensive driving as "driving to save lives, time, and money, in spite of the conditions around you and the actions of others." With today's electronic distractions(texting while driving), the impact of peers socializing with the teen driver and the ominous impaired driver, it is important to appoint a designated driver, limit electronic diversions and to drive defensively.  National Safety Council AAA AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah AAA Mid-AtlanticDriving Driving carFacebook Safety ‪#‎driving‬ ‪#‎teen‬ ‪#‎teens‬
