A cerebrovascular accident(CVA) or more commonly known as stroke is due to a lack of oxygen-carrying blood to an area of the brain. The signs and symptoms of a stroke are principally related to the region of the brain that is affected. On Wednesday, October 19, 2016, from 8-9am PST Dr. Finomo Oram Finomo from the Federal Medical Center-Yenagoa, Nigeria and Dr. Alan Bernstein Clinical Professor of Neurology at UCD will speak on Stroke Syndromes.
